The reference is actually to an old D&D skit by the Dead Ale Wives, which the guys from Summoner animated the end game movie to.

Should the Drunken Bear Hunters in Pre-searing be considered an Easter Egg?

A whole lot of the Shout skills are references. For Great Justice and To The Limit have already been mentioned. Another is Victory is Mine!, which is something baby Stewie likes to say on Family Guy.

Again; An "easter-egg" is something placed into the game that can be "unlocked" by doing a specific in-game sequence. i.e.: the reference above to having cities covered in snow on Dec. 25th in SimCity 4.
Another example; in Duke Nukem 3D, in one of the levels, if you approached a specific arcade machine, you could play the original Doom. Pretty neat.
Either way, the majority, if not all of the above posts are neat developer's references.... but not "easter-eggs".

I'm responding to the last post on the first page.... but thank you for the unnecessary criticism.
Next time I'll attach a quote. Pardon.

LOL.... That would do it. Good luck on those finals.
Just graduated a little over a year ago, myself, so I know what it's like. Actually getting ready to head back to grad school and become a teacher. Ugh... funny how life turns out.
Anyway, again, good luck to you.... and enjoy the "easter eggs and other gags".

Yup, and Rocco Bonetti was an actual fencing master. Farrah Capo (the warrior maiden) is a twisting of the name Capo Ferro, another real fencer referenced in The Princess Bride; Haven't met Agrippa or Thibault yet, but I have a feeling they're around.

Naturally, you must expect me to attack with Capo Ferro
Man In Black
naturally - but I find Thibault cancels out Capo Ferro, don't you?
Inigo
Unless the enemy has studied his Agrippa - which I have.

Also, the necromancer Verata is named after the line used to open the necronomicon in the Evil Dead series: Klaatu Verata Nictu; which in turn is stolen from the movie The Day the Earth Stood Still

The rabbit in Ashford could be considered an easter egg as it serves no purpose, like the frogs, only it is selectable.

"Gurn Blanston" was the name Steve Martin claimed was his real name on one of his early comedy albums. He said it was time to go back to his roots, and was going to release an educational series called Learn with Gurn. Funny at the time (I think I was about 4...)

Agrippa is in the game, in form of a boss enemy.
Can't remember where to meet it, or which type though.

When protecting Confessor Dorian from the undead if you keep clicking on him he says "when they come, we form a circle, backs to each other".
Referencing the 13th warrior movie.
